International observers of CANADEM observation use international criteria and standards to assess the electoral process, and base their assessment on the legislative framework of the host country. Methodology of observation is in line with international standards. As part of their mission, long-term observers monitor the election campaign, meet with participants of the electoral process, closely watch the political developments in the Donetsk region.
