This is a page for school and university youth clubs, which promote non-formal learning of US history, culture and political system, connections between Ukrainian and American peers, as well as volunteering in local communities.
We have American Club in our school, it is called Erin's club, because it is held by our Peace Corps volunteer Erin Taylor.The latest activity she held was Thanksgiving day on Thursday, 22. Students had a lot of fun-they had quizes, watched movie, saw pictures and heard stories about the holiday. Of course they liked to hear about the parade in New York, Black Friday and watch movie "Blind side".
ReplyDeleteI think such activities and introduction of American traditions will help students understand American history, traditions and culture.
Students had a task to make paper turkey and it was atractive of course!
